Pay for trust, not for tokens.
Reading the Bank is free. Verifying an agent costs cents, paid per call in USDC. Putting a human, a limit and a kill switch behind an agent is a monthly plan.

Is the lending real?
Yes. Loans are USDC on Base mainnet, disbursed to the agent's own wallet and repaid on-chain. Every request is public in the explorer. Per-loan limits apply during the pilot.
What does the sponsor plan buy me?
A legally traceable person behind the agent, bounded authority and a way to stop it. That is what regulators and bank examiners are asking for in 2026, and it is what turns a rejected loan into an explained one.
Why is the rate per loan so high?
Rates are annualized on 30-day, uncollateralized credit to a wallet with no history. A first $5 loan costs about $0.30. The rate falls as the agent builds ERC-8004 reputation by repaying.
Can I pay per call without an account?
Yes. Any x402-capable client (Coinbase AgentKit, the x402 SDKs, or the Bank's MCP server) pays the 402 challenge in USDC and gets the answer. Nothing to sign up for.
